Local Action
Durham Refugee Resettlement
Refugees are arriving in the Triangle from all over the world. Right now, many of the refugees are coming from Iraq, Burma, Bhutan and Vietnam, although we have had cases from Eritrea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Cuba. Churches and individual volunteers have the opportunity to welcome and serve these refugees, our new neighbors. Our vision is to see every refugee transformed "economically, socially, and spiritually." We are convinced that as the church serves these new neighbors, the church will be transformed too!
