Donate to World Relief Chicago

World Relief-Chicago relies on the generous contributions of its supporter’s time, prayers, and monetary donations.  We invite you to be a part of this exciting work.  Through your gift, it is possible for us to help refugees who arrive in Chicago with next to nothing to become established in our community.

Donations are used to provide services falling into six areas:

Chicago Office (to be used as most needed)
Refugee Resettlement
Education
Mental Health
Youth
Legal Services
Specific ways in which your financial gift can impact the lives of newly arrived refugees include:
A gift of $23 provides an adult with a CTA pass for public transportation allowing them to attend one week (20 hours) of English classes.

A gift of $100 provides for 8 hours of translation services into a refugee’s primary language.

A gift of $150 provides groceries for a refugee family when they first arrive in Chicago.

A gift of $150 provides one month’s worth of fuel needed to transport 30 kids per week to and from the after school program.

A gift of $250 waives half the legal fees for green card applications for a family of four.

A gift of $350 subsidizes the average cost of one month’s apartment rental assistance.

If you would like to help fund World Relief-Chicago’s ministry, make checks payable to:

World Relief-Chicago
3507 W Lawrence Ave. Suite 208
Chicago, Illinois  60625

You may indicate the specific area you would like your donation to go towards by writing it in the memo line of your check (Ex. Refugee Resettlement).

*All donations are tax-deductible and a receipt will be mailed.

Although receiving donations through the means indicated above is the most helpful for our office and allows you the chance to indicate where you would like your gift to be used, you may also donate securely online by clicking here.  Please be sure to indicate Chicago in the designation line.
