Haiti Earthquake: The Church’s Finest Hour
Haiti’s cataclysmic earthquake rocked the world – but it could not shake the Church.
Within hours of the disaster, World Relief’s Haitian staff and partners were at work in the quake zone – caring for the seriously injured, feeding the hungry, comforting the traumatized.
Leading the charge were Haiti’s local churches… eager to serve their people and their communities in their suffering and distress.
In the United States and around the globe, churches also responded to the cause – standing alongside their Haitian brothers and sisters in prayer, providing relief, bringing hope.
This is the Church’s story of the Haiti earthquake – the Church’s finest hour.
