GET INVOLVED

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering for World Relief Modesto!  With over 200 refugees being resettled in Modesto annually, there are many ways for people to get involved! Some of the available volunteer positions for individuals are:

On-Going Positions:

• English Tutor
  
• Job Searcher
• Health Care Assistant
  
• Befriender
  
• Donation Collector

On-Call Positions:

• Driver (taking refugees to appointments) 
• Furniture Mover (preferably has access to a truck or van)
• Apartment Set-Up
• Office Assistant

We also have multiple volunteer projects for groups:

Group Projects:

• Buy groceries for a refugee family
• Provide a “Welcome Kit” for refugees (email us for a list of needed items)
• Coordinate a Resource Drive 
• Have a family over for dinner
