Why Shine?
Project 5:16 is a way for youth groups across the United States to shine a light of hope admist the darkness of AIDS.
All of the talk about AIDS in other countries can seem so far off and like such an overwhelming problem. It can leave you thinking, “What can I possibly do to help?” While there are many ways you can help, Project 5:16 is a great place to start helping in the fight against AIDS.

Project 5:16 incorporates on-the-street interviews, comedic short film, bible studies, testimonials as well as a leaders and participant guides to help facilitate open and honest discussions.
