Allison Schroeder served as a leader of World Relief's Church Partnership efforts for eight years, cultivating relationships between North American churches, World Relief's offices and local church partners in sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. Before joining World Relief, she obtained her Master's degree in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University in 2001 and spent two years conducting social policy research for the city of Baltimore, MD. Allison is currently a worship leader at her church and is working towards a joint Master's/PhD in Family Therapy and Family Science. She and her husband, Richard, are the grateful parents of a very passionate and opinionated two-year-old boy named Ian.
Allison is available to speak on topics including gender equality, the role of short-term mission in global development, church partnership and transformational development.
