The Benvitational

The Benvitational began in 2013 when some friends gathered for some golf and fun. Along the way, the tournament became something more: a simple way to support refugees and immigrants rebuilding their lives in Western Washington. What started as a grassroots gathering has now become an annual tradition entering its 11th year in 2026.

Over the years, the Benvitational community has raised more than $50,000 for World Relief Western Washington and the refugee and asylum-seeking families we serve. Join us this year on Saturday, August 22nd for a day of golf, generosity, and community.

Who is Ben?

Ben Davis is a Program Director at a Family Medicine residency program in Seattle who is always looking for ways to serve the community, especially refugees. Ben launched the first Benvitational in 2013 as a way to bring people together around golf, friendship, and support for refugees and immigrants in Western Washington.

More than a decade later, the Benvitational continues to grow through the generosity of friends, golfers, sponsors, and supporters who care deeply about welcoming and empowering newcomers in our region. We’re honored to partner with Ben each year as this community tradition continues to make a meaningful impact through World Relief Western Washington.

Event Details

Registration: Registration and entry fee are required prior to the event. Register Here! The entry fee is $75 per person, which covers greens fees and a raffle ticket.

Format: We will do a 4-person scramble. Arrival time is 11:30am, and the first tee time is at 12:07pm. If you cannot find a partner, please make a note in the registration. Click here for course details.

Sponsorship: Each team is encouraged to find as many sponsors as possible that can pledge a donation based on your team's performance. The best part is that Ben will match any donation that is received! More info on this coming soon.

Other Details: Golf carts, food, and beverages are not included, but they can be purchased separately.
