Environmental Education
About
World Relief Western Washington believes that by caring for the environment, we are caring for people. Our Resiliency Programs, including Environmental Education, have been developed according to this principle of holistic care. Individuals and communities flourish when they are able to build meaningful connections with the places where they have put down roots.
Paradise Parking Plots Community Garden and its accompanying Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) provide a unique space where people from diverse backgrounds can learn about and care for the environment together. Through Environmental Education, we aim to foster environmental stewardship, spark career exploration, and strengthen the belonging and resiliency of our newest neighbors as they build safe and sustainable futures for themselves.
