The Regional Director of Resettlement Services oversees the Resettlement Department in the Northern California region and provides senior-level leadership and oversight to all aspects of resettlement programs at World Relief’s Sacramento and Modesto offices. This oversight will include overall program management, technical development, implementation, personnel, budget, and financial controls.

This Resettlement Specialist is responsible for guiding newly arrived refugees and other qualifying immigrants through the initial resettlement period, which focuses on creating stability, developing self-sufficiency plans through a realistic and strengths-based approach, and actively providing appropriate services, enrollments, and referrals based on client need, strengths, and goals.

The Community Ambassador role is designed to contribute to the process of World Relief Spokane and our partners learning how we can best help refugees and immigrants to flourish in our community. This will happen as the ambassador participates in outreach activities within communities, fulfills grant objectives, and communicates to World Relief the trends observed in communities and both general and specific needs and feedback.

The Housing Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and cultivating housing leads, creating outreach materials relevant to landlords and apartment managers, securing units, and developing a database for housing opportunities and operational support related to securing housing for newly arrived refugees.
