A culturally appropriate meal and enough groceries for one to two days are provided upon arrival. Often the US Tie will want to do this, but if they don’t, you may choose to purchase these items as a donation for the arriving newcomers.   

Reimbursements: Please only purchase items listed on the Grocery and Welcome Meal Checklist. Reimbursement of these items comes directly from the newcomer’s initial resettlement grant.
