Internships
We are now accepting internship applications for Fall 2021 and beyond.
Internships
World Relief North Texas benefits from the hard work of dedicated interns who are equally rewarded with rich, cross-cultural experiences serving refugees and other immigrants alongside us. As an intern, you will engage in a meaningful learning experience, take on challenging work assignments, develop your technical skills, form connections with a diverse intern cohort and build your professional network at an organization that stands with the vulnerable and partners with local churches to provide vital services and create communities of love and welcome for immigrants in the United States.
Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside staff members as they provide much needed services to new refugee and immigrant families as they are welcomed and served through our various programs and services. All World Relief internships are unpaid, but our programs are competitive because they provide a wealth of experience.
ELIGIBILITY
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months
Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate program
Have access to a personal vehicle
Have a valid driver's license

Adhere to the Christian Statement of Faith required by all World Relief employees and agree to our mission, vision, and values
The Internship Program is competitive, and you are encouraged to approach it in the same way you would a job. Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, a resume, application, and to pass a criminal background check. Only complete applications will be considered. We are willing and able to collaborate with degree programs to meet internship requirements for school credit. "
The application will prompt you to attach a CV/Resume and cover letter. Your cover letter of 1 page should include:
Why do you want to pursue an internship at World Relief?
Why you are interested in this particular internship position(s)?
What skills and experience do you bring to this position(s)?
What do you hope to learn through this experience?
What dates and times are you available, and for how many weeks?
