About the event
For 80 years, World Relief has existed as a movement of the church. Join World Relief Western NY as we gather the Church of Rochester for an evening of storytelling, worship, and prayer. God has brought us together for such a time as this through a network of local churches and faithful followers of Jesus to lean into our God-given design to be an instrument of peace and LASTING CHANGE.
The Church in Western NY reflects many nations, tribes, peoples, and languages. Listen to a few of our stories and celebrate with us that we are NO LONGER STRANGERS. We will spend time in prayer for those in our community and around the world who are in the stages of displacement, waiting, arrival, and thriving, and will leave with concrete ideas of how we can be a light to the nations in our own community.
Save the date and plan for an evening of storytelling, worship, and prayer with World Relief Western NY on June 20th. This World Refugee Day we will gather as the Church of Rochester to pray for the globally displaced and lean into our God-given design to be an instrument of peace and lasting change. Get ready to listen to a few of our stories and celebrate with us that we are no longer strangers!
