World Refugee Day

World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honor refugees around the globe.

Saturday, June 17

Rochester International Academy
1 Edgerton Park, Rochester, NY 14608

10 AM - 2 PM

Free and open to the public!

Around the world, World Refugee Day is celebrated every June. Communities, schools, businesses, faith groups and people from all walks of life create events, big and small, to take steps in solidarity with refugees.

Join us and #ROCFORREFUGEES this year on Saturday, June 17 at Rochester International Academy, 1 Edgerton Place, beginning at 10:00am. This event is free and open to the public. There will be entertainment, food, children’s games, henna, and more!

In order to have the most successful event possible, we need some help! Our agencies are working together to provide chairs, tents for shade, water, food and snacks, activities and games, community awards, and more. Will you help support World Refugee Day? Donate today!

Thank You To the Entire Rochester Community!

This event can be successful because of the incredible collaboration between Rochester's refugee resettlement partners. Thank you!
