Combat loneliness and isolation through intentional friendship. Get to know a refugee or immigrant family and help them feel known and connected by providing consistent friendship and cultural empowerment, while assisting in practical ways.

A Good Neighbor Team (GNT) is a small group of people from a local church that partners with World Relief to welcome, walk alongside, and offer long-term reciprocal friendships with a newly arrived refugee family. Our goal is for refugees to feel the warm welcome of their local community.

Volunteering to assist with transportation is about so much more than just driving to an appointment - its a great way to casually get to know a neighbor in your area. This is a flexible opportunity that just involves you, your car, and a new neighbor!

The Move-in Team assists with moving furniture, preparing home goods, and setting up an apartment for a new family prior to their arrival. This is a tangible way to serve our friends through preparing their home for them.

Volunteer who help with furniture pick-up are essential to making sure we have the items needed to prepare homes for new families. Great for those who own a truck and don't mind some heavy lifting.
