Donations During COVID-19

During this period of uncertainty around COVID-19, we are blessed by your desire to continue creating a welcoming community by showing support and meeting practical needs of your refugee and immigrant neighbors.

Your donations of the items below, including winter coats, are so important and appreciated!

This year, World Relief Memphis will resettle many refugees and asylees to the area. These families have fled persecution in their home country and are beginning new lives here in the U.S. There are some time-sensitive needs we have for a few of these families as well as ongoing needs. We invite you to join us in welcoming them by meeting these tangible needs.

Donations can be dropped off at our office from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Pick-ups can be scheduled for larger items.

If you do not live in the Memphis area, an Amazon wishlist has been created that will be shipped directly to our office.

Donations can be shipped to our office at 5340 Quince Rd, Suite A, Memphis, TN 38119.

Housing

One of our most urgent needs right now is housing for our newest neighbors. Regardless of whether it's short-term or long-term, you could be playing a part in helping a family to rebuild their lives sooner rather and later.

If you know of a room available, an apartment complex with openings, rental properties or someone who does, let us know by filling out a simple form.

Kroger Community Rewards

If you are unable to donate items at this time but would still like to make an impact, sign up for Kroger Community Awards. Every time you shop at Kroger, World Relief Memphis will earn cash rewards in turn.

Or, donate Kroger gift cards to help families fill their fridge as soon as they arrive.

Donation Pick-Ups

Now through Christmas, we will be looking for volunteers to assist us with donation pick-ups. We have had so many kind offers to donate furniture and other items, and we are looking for 4 volunteers to help us lift furniture, drive the moving truck and deposit it at our warehouse on Fridays from 9 to 12.

If you or someone you know is available to help and is comfortable with lifting heavy objects, let us know!
