Daytime English Classes
World Relief Chicago provides online and in-person English language classes for immigrants and refugees in Chicagoland. Typically, virtual classes meet for 2 hours between 9AM - 1PM on Mondays - Thursdays. In-person classes meet from 9AM - 11AM on Mondays - Thursdays at the World Relief Chicago office.
Evening English Classes
World Relief Chicago also offers evening classes online six hours per week. Typically, virtual classes meet between 6PM - 9PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Career Preparation Classes
World Relief Chicago provides a Career Preparation class for intermediate and advanced English learners in Chicagoland. These classes meet online from 9AM-11:30AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

One-on-One English Tutoring
World Relief Chicago can also pair you with a native English speaker (of the same gender) who has volunteered to help you learn English. Tutors and students do weekly video calls for 1 to 2 hours. Tutors may also assign homework.
Volunteer with the Education Program
If you are fluent in English and over the age of 18, you can volunteer as an English tutor! World Relief will provide pre-service training as well as on-going support after you are paired with an adult student. Volunteers must be willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months and 2 hours/week.
