Next Steps to Volunteer
Thank you for completing the volunteer application. Please follow the directions in the next steps below to move forward. Our volunteer onboarding coordinator will be following up with you to ensure you have the information you need to start your journey with World Relief!
Note: Due to precautions around COVID-19, many of our volunteer opportunities are currently at different capacities. While volunteering may look different, your involvement is needed now more than ever!
We appreciate your patience as we are receiving a high volume of applications right now, so our response time may be a bit slower than usual. But we need your help, so don’t feel that our slower response means you’re not needed!
Orientation
Complete our virtual orientation to World Relief by clicking the button below and enrolling in the course. When prompted to enter a World Relief Office, please type "WR Chicagoland".
After completing the virtual orientation, you’ll be sent a link to complete our live Chicagoland Volunteer Orientation, which is currently being held virtually on Zoom.
After the orientation, we’ll complete the final paperwork with you including a background check and contacting the references you listed on your volunteer application, and then you’ll move into training for your role and placement to get started!
