At World Relief, our volunteers hospitably form friendships with our refugee neighbors while connecting them with their new home… and this season always has ample ways to grow friendships!

Through World Relief, Abdulkareem was introduced to community members who saw potential in his dream of opening his own restaurant. They connected him to catering opportunities, birthday parties, opening ceremonies and other special occasions.

When he first began to work at Sacred Heart Hospital, Jackson wanted to throw up. Blood was everywhere. As a CNA and phlebotomist, he would guide psychiatric patients down hallways, witness brain surgeries, monitor heart rates and meet ambulances.
