Your donations transform lives by meeting the basic needs of refugee and vulnerable immigrant families—giving them a chance to rebuild, a fresh start, and renewed hope for the future. Generous support from individuals, community members, and church partners makes this possible.

Refugee families often flee their homes at a moment’s notice, arriving in Sacramento with few belongings, difficult pasts, and hopeful aspirations. They rely on World Relief Sacramento and our collective efforts to help them rebuild and find a true sense of belonging.

Together, we are building welcoming communities across Northern California. With your support, we help refugee and immigrant families begin again—rebuilding their lives, finding belonging, and moving toward self-sufficiency.

Warehouse Closure – Effective September 1, 2025

Due to reduced funding, we had to make the difficult decision to close our warehouse effective September 1, 2025. While we can no longer accept donations at the warehouse, our work of welcoming and helping families find belonging in the Greater Sacramento Region continues—and we’d love your help!

If you have items to donate, please contact our Church & Community Engagement Team at SacCE@wr.org so we can arrange a drop-off together.

Welcome Kits & Gift Cards Still Needed

While we are no longer able to accept used furniture and household item donations, we still have families in need of Welcome Kits and Gift Cards.

Welcome Kits are pre-packed sets of essential household items—such as kitchen supplies, toiletry items, and cleaning products—that help refugee and immigrant families settle into their new homes with dignity and comfort.

Gift cards for groceries, ride-share, or gas are also a practical and flexible way to support families as they navigate daily needs and expenses.
