The Invitation at the Cross

Easter is a sacred day of joy for those who follow Christ — a celebration of transformation, redemption and hope. For World Relief, it also marks the beginning of our mission. In this very season 81 years ago, members of Park Street Church in Boston responded to those displaced by World War II in Europe with a bold offering of compassion.

To commemorate this day, Allison Daniels, World Relief’s Director of Partnership and Generosity, shares with us a heartfelt message on the power of the cross, our Christian calling and the power of our response.

Christ’s victory over death calls us to love boldly — welcoming the stranger, caring for the vulnerable and praying for those whose futures remain uncertain.
