The termination of refugee resettlement and humanitarian aid won’t stop us from continuing life-saving work here and across the globe.

On February 26, 2025, approximately 90% of USAID grants were terminated with immediate effect. Thousands of foreign assistance awards funding critical, life-saving programs for some of the world’s most vulnerable populations, wiped out in an instant. Millions of people — families facing famine, communities in crisis — are now in imminent danger. World Relief’s Reception and Placement (R&P) program, in partnership with the U.S. Department State, is also drastically impacted, bringing an end to a 45 year, bi-partisan effort to welcome refugees to safety.
