Update on Myanmar Earthquake

On March 28, a catastrophic 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, devastating communities already suffering from years of conflict and displacement. With the epicenter in the region that hosts over 1.6 million internally displaced persons (IDPs), this disaster compounds an already dire humanitarian crisis. Homes, infrastructure and vital public services have been destroyed. More than 3,600 people have lost their lives, thousands are injured, and survivors are facing critical shortages of food, water, shelter and medical care.
