As we are rebuilding to welcome many more refugees to the Triangle, your donations will help newcomers settle into their new homes. Secondhand furniture and bedding and other items from our Amazon Gift List will furnish and supply apartments. Donations of gift cards will allow newcomer families to purchase groceries while waiting for their benefits to begin.

FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
Want to do something tangible to help welcome our newest arrivals? Whether from Afghanistan, El Salvador, Burma, or the DRC, every family and individual needs basic furniture items and household goods in their new home. From dressers to dining tables to pots & pans, your gently-used items will help refugee families feel at home.
Email WRDDonations@wr.org to inquire about whether we can accept your specific items, and we will schedule a time to receive your donation!
GIFT CARDS
We would be grateful for gift cards to Food Lion, Walmart, or *Visa gift cards (*standard gift cards only -- our clients cannot use reloadable debit-style cards), which refugees and humanitarian parolees will use to purchase groceries, clothing, diapers, medicine, and other essential items upon their arrival. Please label each gift card with its dollar amount. ($50 increments are preferred, but all values are welcome!) Please include your name and contact information so that World Relief Durham can send you a Gift-in-Kind tax receipt to acknowledge your donation.

You can still contribute through our Amazon Gift List: these are essential items we need to set up first homes for our newest neighbors. Please be sure to use the gift list default shipping setting. World Relief Durham will send you a Gift-in-Kind tax receipt to acknowledge your donation.
