For 7 years, Goreth and Mbimbi didn’t know if they would ever see each other again. Then in December of 2022, the day they’d both been waiting and praying for finally came — they were reunited at last!

Today, World Relief Chicagoland continues to walk alongside Goreth and Mbimbi as they rebuild their life in the U.S. “It’s not like they abandon you,” Mbimbi said. “If you need something, they are there to help.”
