World Relief's King County location was one of the organization's first resettlement offices in the U.S. We opened our doors in 1979 in response to those fleeing conflict in Southeast Asia. We began welcoming individuals in Seattle, and have moved office locations within the county to situate ourselves closest to the majority of our participants, in Kent.
World Relief in King County offers a wide variety of services for refugees and immigrants with other statuses. Currently our local offerings include initial resettlement support, extended case management, employment services, youth and family programs, English classes, immigration legal services, resiliency programs, and ministry surrounding the Tacoma Northwest Detention Center.
