Thurston County is World Relief Western Washington's third and most recent office location. We received approval from the U.S. government in Fall 2022 to begin resettling refugees, and anticipate our first arrivals in Spring 2023.
World Relief in Thurston County focuses on initial resettlement support, such as securing stable housing, providing cultural orientation, and enrolling children in school. Programs are anticipated to expand as we engage with newly arrived individuals and hear what they most need from their community.
