Household Goods

Please see our Amazon wish lists for the non-furniture household goods we are currently accepting (i.e. cookware sets, linens, toiletries) We are happy to take any of the items on the list in other variations or brands from other retailers.

Furniture

Bedframes and new mattresses in twin, full and queen sizes (new, in box)
Kitchen tables and chairs (new/like new)
End tables (new/like new)
Dressers (new/like new)
Couches (new/in good condition)

Due to limited storage capacity, these are all the furniture items we can accept at this time. Please contact NW Furniture Bank to donate other furniture items. Also, our storage space for large items fills up and empties out as people arrive throughout the month. We appreciate your patience if we cannot accept your items right away.

Safeway, Fred Meyer, Amazon, Target, WinCo, Dollar Tree, Walmart, and Goodwill are our favorites!

Laptops

New from the wish lists above
Gently used with the following qualifications:
- New, like new, or in very good condition
- Chromebooks (preferable) or Windows laptops
- Charger must be included
- Laptop can be up to 3 years old
- Has a webcam (For Zoom English classes

How does it work?

As part of the resettlement process, World Relief Western WA secures and furnishes safe and affordable apartments for these newcomers as they begin a new life in Washington.

We sometimes coordinate pick-ups around King County or Whatcom County, but prefer if you are able to schedule an appointment to drop off at our office in Kent.
We have only one employee doing furniture pickups. You may be asked to bring your items outside of your home or assist the donations coordinator in loading.

You can also visit our King County Wishlist, Thurston Wishlist, or Whatcom Wishlist to directly purchase the highest-need items for refugees’ first apartments and have them sent directly to our office for immediate use!
