Family Reunification intro
Family Reunification
We have all heard the heartbreaking news of immigrant children being separated from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border as a result of the “zero-tolerance” policy. Working in collaboration with local churches and other partners, World Relief is stepping up to do all we can to help keep families together. For nearly 40 years, we have worked to serve refugee and immigrant communities. We do this not because it is easy, but because we believe every person deserves a place to belong.
Given the rapidly changing and complex environment we have set up a Family Reunification Fund. This fund will give us flexibility to respond as the situation changes and will go to bolster both new and proven initiatives.
Donate to provide legal support, advocacy and church mobilization for those separated families.
Legal support
Accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice, our legal services professionals help immigrants navigate the complex legal system —offering, for example, credible fear interviews at the border.
Advocacy & Church Mobilization
The church has a unique role to play in immigration, and World Relief equips and mobilizes local churches to use their moral voice.
Ongoing Family Reunification
World Relief assesses eligibility and helps immigrants with family still abroad to file applications for family reunification visas.
