Refugees and immigrants need your help today.

Today, over 70 million people around the world have been forced to leave their home. Each day, that number grows by over 44,000.

These families are fleeing for their lives, praying for their safety and desperately seeking refuge. If you’re like us, you believe that everyone deserves a place to call ‘home’. You believe that families and young children deserve safety and security. And you want to do something to help. When you give today, you help us:

Humanitarian
Provide Humanitarian Assistance

We work with local partners to meet refugees at their first point of safety, providing emergency aid to families living in temporary shelters - including clean water, food, tarps, hygiene kits and other essential items

RestoreHope
Restore Hope

As refugee families realize they may never return home, they often face an overwhelming loss of hope. Alongside local partners, we work to combat this by providing trauma counseling, mother and parent groups, and safe spaces and literacy clubs for refugee children to learn, grow and play.

RebuildFutures
Rebuild Futures

As refugees begin to rebuild their homes and lives, we help families find housing, learn English, pursue employment, build friendships and create long-term support systems.

It Takes a Village

It was 3 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon when we got the call. A woman in the Congolese community had contracted COVID-19 — the first of what would turn out to be many cases for the Congolese living in the Quad Cities area. My mind raced with questions as we worked to determine the best…
