About the Illustrator
Danielle Coke Balfour is an artist, activist and speaker who uses art and storytelling to inspire everyday advocates to live with justice, empathy and hope. Through her brand Oh Happy Dani, she creates illustrations, products and resources that make complex ideas about justice and compassion accessible and actionable. Dani has collaborated with organizations like Target, Old Navy, Coach, the Boys and Girls Club and Teach for America, using her creative gifts to help others “do good daily” — right where they are.
