Thank you for your generous outpouring of financial support and for praying with us over the last two weeks. As the situation in Israel and Gaza continues to unfold, we continue to ask the Lord for peace and provision in the region.
Let us raise our hands to the Lord, for whom nothing is impossible.
Prayer:
Lord, we worship You.
In the midst of the storm, we raise our eyes to you. Please speak peace into the crisis in Israel and Gaza.
We lift our prayer to you,
Lord, hear us.
We raise all the innocent children that have been affected by this crisis to You, Lord. You said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” You have created each of them — You love them deeply and profoundly. Lord, protect them, heal them, and provide for them and their families.
We lift our prayer to you,
Lord, hear us.
Lord, we pray for the hostages. Please bring them home safely. Let Your peace wash over their families as they await news of their loved ones.
We lift our prayer to you,
Lord, hear us.
Father, please provide food, clean water, medical supplies and necessities for all those affected by the conflict. Thank you for the miracles you have performed and are continuing to perform. In the midst of the storm, You are our hope. Your Word tells us that the universe was formed at your command — that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. In faith, we look to You for a resolution, as children trust their father. Speak into this situation, Lord.
We lift our prayer to you,
Lord, hear us.
We pray for families who have lost loved ones. Our hearts are torn, and we are just human. How much more must Your heart be torn when you see this suffering? Father, let those who grieve and suffer today feel the comfort of Your embrace.
We lift our prayer to you,
Lord, hear us.
Lord, we lift up Israel and Gaza to You. Please speak into this crisis. Give world leaders wisdom as they handle this situation. Guide our hearts and minds as we pray. Open our eyes to those who grieve in our churches and communities, and help us to comfort them.
We lift our prayer to you,
Lord, hear us.
Father, we come to You with open hands, knowing and trusting that You are able to do above and beyond anything we can ask for or imagine. Thank You for hearing our prayer.
Amen.
We have been closely following the events in Israel and Gaza and are poised to respond to this crisis through our partners in the region as soon as the situation allows. Will you give to help those in need?
